We’ve had our eye on Peter & Sons for quite some time now. When it comes to this provider, we really like to use the word unique. They strive for a superior and unique gaming experience, so it seems like they have done well on their promise. Peter & Sons is a fairly new provider, but their slots aren’t of a novice level. Most of their slots follow a special design, which makes it easy to recognize their products. We are a bit surprised that they haven’t received an even bigger recognition, but Peter & Sons are on their way to the top and we are interested to see where this journey will take them. Their 12th slot is called Kaiser, and that is our topic of the day.
Even though we’ve had some experience with their other slots, Kaiser is the first Peter & Sons entry on our page. They possess many unique slots in their portfolio, but Kaiser has to be the most surprising. This 5 reel slot is themed around World War 1, which is something that you see very rarely. It’s one of the bloodiest conflicts in human history so it’s understandable that many providers have dodged this topic. It’s a bold move by Peter & Sons, which could pay off, if done correctly. It also might be considered a bit of a controversial move, but sometimes you have to take some risks to be noticed. Usually, we would avoid going to the trenches, but this time we will make an exception.

Kaiser Slot Review
Game Layout: 5 Reels x 5 Reels yes (2) Random Wilds, Free Spins
Bonus features: yes (2) Random Wilds, Free Spins Release date: 20th of July 2021 Gameplay and Payouts
It’s the year 1914 and the world is ravaged by the war. Lonely German soldier Hans Schultz is trying to win, whatever the cost, to bring glory to his Kaiser. World War 1 is one of the darkest periods of human history, but with the help of their cartoon design, Peter & Sons are portraying it in a much more cheerful way. It’s quite hard to design such a slot, for it not to be in a bad taste, but we believe that Peter & Sons did a great job. Our hero Hands stands next to the 5 by 5 game layout, while the bleak no man’s land is visible in the background. From time to time, you can spot a tank going across the battlefield or you can experience an occasional bombardment. It’s clear, that a lot of thought and work has gone into the Kaiser presentation.
As we like to say, that’s only half the job done, because the game symbols are equally important. In all honesty, the symbols are less impressive than the overall visual presentation, but they are definitely not bad. Kaiser low symbols consist of 10, J, Q, K and A, while the four high symbols are cheese, pretzel, soldier and a nurse. The Wild symbol provides the biggest payout. The action happens behind enemy paylines which are 40 in total. The gameplay is smooth and with a lot of animations, so the Kaiser game experience is satisfying and entertaining.
Whatever may be the theme, in the end, all slots have a game and payout model, which is the base of each slot. So far, the biggest potential belongs to Robin – Nottingham Raiders slot, where the max win is 121500x. Of course, it’s debatable how much really the slot can pay, but the potential technically is there. Kaiser takes it a notch down, with a bit more realistic 2,333x max win. This medium-high volatility slot also comes with a great 97% RTP, which is quite a bit higher than an average slot can offer. The bet range for Kaiser is 0.25 – 125.
Bonus Features
Things are about to get intense because it’s time for the Kaiser bonus features. During tank battles and artillery fire, you will come across special Wild symbols, which is otherwise known as the Wild Multiplier feature. During the main game, 3 to 10 Wild symbols can randomly appear. Each such trigger activates the multiplier meter, which cycles through 1x, 2x and 3x. For example, your first Wild Multiplier drop will push this multiplier to 2x and the next one to 3x. The third drop will then reset the multiplier back to 1x and so the cycle continues.
While the Wilds can keep you busy, all eyes are still on the Kaiser’s main prize, which is the Free Spins feature. Landing 3 scatters will do the trick, as the award is 7 Free Spins. Before the bonus, a mini-game will randomly pick the amount of Roaming Wilds. This could range anywhere between 3 to 10 Wilds. These Wild symbols then randomly change the position of each new spin. Their multipliers can be increased by collecting additional scatters. Every multiplier increase grants +2 Free Spins.

Conclusion
The headline probably is the choice of theme. World War 1 is a brave and a bit controversial choice, but, as we said, if you want to be noticed then you have to make some louder moves. We believe that Peter & Sons did a great job on the Kaiser slot. It uses this setting as a good inspiration without crossing any forbidden or disrespectful boundaries. The gameplay is fun and unique, so Kaiser definitely is a must-try slot. Coming right after the Robin slot, the potential for Kaiser is a bit underwhelming, but 2,333x is still a wonderful win to have, it’s just that, we expected something more explosive from a slot that’s located on a battlefield. Peter & Sons are on the right path, so the future is bright for this young studio.
