It feels like a good minute since we’ve last had a fruit slot here on this page. It’s probably not as long as it feels but still, it’s good to return back to the roots once more. If someone knows how to make a good fruit slot, surely, it’s Playson. They have one of the biggest fruit slot collection on the market right now. They have always preferred to keep their slots simple, so even their non-fruit slots mostly come with a simple gameplay model. Hot Burning Wins is the next slot in line. This is not the first “burning” slot from Playson, this “series” has been going on for some while.
Perhaps some could right off these Playson fruit slots as a sign of laziness from their side. Almost every fruit slot they have uses the same set of symbols with a slight variation in some of the game features. From a different perspective, it’s good that these slots are visually similar, because then players can more easily recognize the Playson product, so if they liked one of their slots, there is a good chance that they will enjoy others too. Hot Burning Wilds is planning to light up the reels and we’re here for that moment.

Hot Burning Wins Slot Review
Gameplay and Payouts
There are a couple of visual things, that almost all Playson fruit games share. For starters, we got the red, space-like background. Secondly, it’s the golden game layout with the bold, orange game title on the top. Hot Burning Wins is a 3 reel and 3 row slot, which takes us way back to the start of iGaming and slots in general. Thankfully, these days the payout models have been well adjusted, no wonder that these sort of slots used to be called the one-armed bandits. Otherwise, there is not much that Hot Burning Wins can visually offer, it’s a barebones presentation with little to no imagination. It doesn’t even feature a background soundtrack.
Another recurring aspect is the game symbols. The presentation of these symbols hasn’t changed throughout many iterations of Playson fruit slots. This brings us back to the first paragraphs. You could take this positively or negatively, ultimately the verdict lies in your hands. Hot Burning Wins features 9 regular symbols with 6 different payout values. As always the most desirable symbol is the red lucky seven, followed closely by the bells and bar. For what it’s worth, these Playson fruit symbols do look great. If you have decided to reuse a bunch of symbols, then at least make sure that they are well made, which in this case is true for Playson.
Perhaps a bit anticlimactic, but there is not much to say when it comes to Hot Burning Wins payout model. It’s as default as it could ever get. A 3 by 3 set up with high volatility and a 96% RTP. As we said, the modern fruits slots are much more generous if you compare them with old school slot machines, but you still should be aware, that Hot Burning Wins can get a bit stingy, but overall we were satisfied with the hit rate, as far as fruit slots go. This 5 liner has a bet range of 0.30 – 100, which should suffice for most players.
We don’t want to sound like a broken record, but this is another part where there is not so much left to say. Hot Burning Wins comes with one additional feature. In retrospect, old fruits slots came with absolutely no bonus features, so we are happy to get at least one added to Hot Burning Wins. This special addition is the Multiplier feature. It’s a straightforward idea, nine identical fruit symbols will double your winning. In other words, if your screen is full of fruits then that win will be doubled. It does not apply to bar, bell and seven symbols.
We don’t think that Hot Burning Wins required a lot of brainstorming from the Playson team. It’s a simple but neat idea to add some additional multipliers to a regular fruit slot. Other than that, it’s a very down to basics slot gaming. Playson have various fruits slots, so another one like this won’t add much to the already big collection. It’s like another drop in the ocean. Some fruit machine enthusiasts will surely find some joy in the gameplay and we can understand why, but in general, it feels like Playson could have done a bit more. We will keep a lookout for the next fruit slot from the provider with hopes of something more innovative for the future.
