We don’t mean to sound too harsh, but Red Rake slots are not known for their wonderful looks. The majority of their games look simple and, at least, visually there is nothing overly exciting about them. In general, fruit slots are simple looking games, but some providers still manage to make them appealing. Hot & Win looks average at best. It’s a basic 5 by 3 layout, which is full of different fruits. You can also see this weird flame effect on all the buttons and symbols, which just looks cheap and unattractive. Of course, this may be a subjective opinion, so perhaps you may view these flames differently, but we think a lot of players will agree with us.
If you take away the flames, then the symbols themselves look okay. Players will come across some classic fruit symbols and also some more unusual additions, such as strawberries and diamonds. The complete list of Hot & Win symbols include orange, watermelon, grapes, cherry, strawberry, bell, seven and diamond. That’s eight regular symbols plus the Wild. Wins are made from a combination of 3 or more symbols, following one of the 25 paylines.
This is slot is also not that hot when it comes to payouts. The max possible win is 1,000x, which for a fruit slot seems okay, but then again, we’ve seen some other providers introducing fruits slots with bigger potentials. Red Rake Gaming have rated volatility 5/6, so it’s a high volatility game. The RTP of 95.40% is somewhat expected because fruit machines tend to go below 96. Hot & Win runs well enough, actually, the wins drop more frequently than we initially thought. Hot & Win is far from the hottest fruit slot we’ve seen, but it’s not all bad either. A lot of fruit slots come with no additional features, but on Hot & Win, we have two separate bonuses. The game runs well and you can score a decent win here and there, but otherwise Hot & Win doesn’t hold in too many secrets or surprises. We, personally, didn’t enjoy the presentation, but if you are really into the flame decals, then Hot & Win will probably look alright to you.
