Hat Trick Hero Slot Review

It’s one of those presentations, which you forget in a couple of minutes. We can see the pitch with stands blurred out in the back. Also, the layout and the background music is quite generic, so unfortunately Hat Trick Hero is not much different from all other football slot attempts. By no means it’s a bad presentation, it’s just awfully boring, it’s not the quality you expect in 2021. Perhaps flashy visuals are not your thing and you prefer to keep things minimalistic. In that case, Hat Trick Hero will do just fine.
The 5 reel layout is supported by 25 paylines. The low symbols of 10, J, Q, K and A are basic, but the high symbols are actually quite nice. You will come across a football jersey, gloves, whistle with a stopwatch, two different golden awards and a champions cup. We don’t want to be overly harsh, but the high symbols, visually, is the only good thing about this Hat Trick Hero presentation. So far no goals scored for the home team.
Glancing the stats, nothing especially pops out. Hat Trick Hero is a high volatility slot with an RTP of 96.23%. So far so good. The bet range is a bit strange, as the lowest bet starts from 0.04 while the highest is 12, we are not entirely sure why is that. The max win is 1260x. Any win is a good win, but compared to games that we’ve had recently, this payout greatly overshadowed. The game runs well enough, so at least Betsoft has that covered.
Bonus Features
Hat Trick Hero comes with one main bonus feature. The wild symbol is the square picture, which includes boots and a ball. Three of these wild symbols at once trigger the Hat Trick Hero event. The bonus is kept alive by a constant source of wilds, so once there are no wilds on the screen, the bonus game stops. Every new wild and existing wild moves one position to the left. When the roaming wild reaches the leftmost side, a goal is scored. 15 of these goals award an instant cash prize of 1000x.
Conclusion
Maybe one day, football fans will receive a slot worthy of their passion, but that day is not now. Hat Trick Hero at best is a decent slot. The visuals are quite bland and the game just feels outdated, nothing in the presentation was exciting. The Hat Trick Hero event would be great if it was an additional feature accompanying Free Spins, but that is not the case, so we are left with a desire for more. We know that Betsoft are capable of much more, so it’s obvious that they didn’t care to put too much effort into Hat Trick Hero. As for now, Hat Trick Hero can be tossed in the bag of mediocre football slots, as we continue to wait for the day when a proper football slot makes its appearance.
