We can’t help but to compare both game versions, how else you will understand if the new Megaways version truly is better? Clearly, most of us are here for one reason and that’s Megaways. The layout now consists of 6 reels and 2-8 Rows. Previously we had to use a 5 by 3 layout, so this one is definitely more exciting. Thanks to Megaways, the payline amount skyrockets up to 200,704. On Chilli Heat Megaways, the symbols can appear in a larger 2-row size, which is also visually more appealing. Speaking of visuals, all the previous symbols are brought over to the new Chilli Heat Megaways slot. At your disposal, we once more have 10 regular symbols. The typical 9-A are a bit boring, but the shot of tequila, chilli, mariachi dog and man help to create this wonderful atmosphere. You almost wish you were there.

The addition of Megaways rarely ruins the game, and that also hasn’t happened with Chilli Heat Megaways, but it’s not an entirely complete package. The potential is much better and the graphics have seen an improvement, but perhaps more could have been done for this to be called a really strong remake. We did enjoy the pleasant Mexican festivity vibe and the gameplay is fun, so surely Chilli Heat Megaways is the better slot out of two.
