Halloween may be over but that doesn’t mean that we are back to butterflies and sunshine, a new slot is released by Nolimit City, which takes us straight to Warrior Graveyard. Nolimit City has this tendency to release indirect sequels, same as it was with Tombstone and Deadwood, games which are connected, but it’s not clearly displayed. In this case, Barbarian Fury is the beginning and Warrior Graveyard is the closure.
During Barbarian Fury we engaged in vicious battles where only the mightiest or luckiest survived. This is now the aftermath of the battle, the harsh and grim reality. Warriors Graveyard is another slot that uses the xNudge feature, which nudges the wilds, increasing the multiplier along the way. We’ve set a depressive tone so far, but don’t be sorrowful as there is a light in the darkness, a payout worth 9,797x. This is building up to be a blockbuster slot, so let us wait no longer and see what is Warriors Graveyard capable of.

Warrior Graveyard Review
Game Layout: 6 Reels x 3 Rows Release date: 3 November 2020 Gameplay and Design
Where even to begin, the presentation for Warriors Graveyard is bone-chilling, in the most positive way. Perhaps the strongest atmosphere setter is the wonderful cello arrangement, which really makes you imagine how the battles went down and how we are facing the sombre consequences now. Also visually, Warrior Graveyard is downright gorgeous. The grey stone pillars which are lightly illuminated by the fires, the dark midnight skies with the full moon, the heavy downpour of rain – it’s a complete
package. The layout is very similar to the one used in Barbarian Fury, although now we have 1 reel more and 1 row less.
As before, there are 10 regular symbols on Warrior Graveyard. Five of the lowest pay symbols are different warrior gear pieces – hammer, axe, helmet, shield and sword. The next tier of symbols is the big ones, which can cover multiple game fields at once. These are the eerie skeletons of fallen heroes, each with their own colour. Seems like the main hero of Barbarian Fury has also met his end, as the Warrior Graveyard top paying symbol shares a strong resemblance with him. Even the best can get outlasted sometimes.
We are no grave robbers, but we will use the chance to score some riches and in Warrior Graveyard there is plenty to be had. Warrior Graveyard is an intense slot on all ends, the volatility is high so don’t expect to always be treated kindly. Speaking of riches, the max potential is 9,797x. It’s just shy of that 10,000x payout, but still, this is more than decent. Along the way, you will have to work with 25 paylines, while the RTP remains a solid 96.15%. Last but not least, you will have to decide on bets that you are going to place, Warrior Graveyard offers a choice between 0.25 – 100.
Bonus Features
This might be a slight déjà vu, as features on Warrior Graveyard are very close to what they were in Barbarian Fury, but as they say, don’t fix it if it ain’t broken. Although, Nolimit City has brought in some upgrades, so let’s see if these really are improvements.
The xNudge feature is also implemented on Warrior Graveyard, it is part of the xNudge Tombstone Wilds. These simply are big wild symbols, which can cover the whole reel. If the wild is just partly showing, then it will nudge to fully visible. Each nudge increases the multiplier by one. These wilds can also multiply each other. Tombstone Wilds can only appear on reel 2, 3, 4 and 5.

These fallen warriors are not as dead as it may seem, because if you land 3 or more high paying warrior symbols of the same type, the game will trigger the Warrior Attack feature. Just like with Wilds, they will nudge until fully visible, adding an extra multiplier for each move, but this time they all will move to the leftmost side, before paying out the win.
Once again we have two types of bonus free spins on Warrior Graveyard, the regular version and the extreme if you will. Graveyard Spins are triggered by 3, 4 or 5 scatters, awarding 8,10 or 12 spins respectively. The moon turns red like blood and the whole presentation intensifies. Essentially it works the same way as the main game, the only difference is the multiplier, which you get from wilds, doesn’t reset after each spin.

For the maximum amount of 6 scatters the Warrior Graveyard presents the Death Spins. For this bonus we are taken to depths of hell it seems, as flames and skulls decorate everything around us. You will start with 14 Free Spins, but for each new scatter you are given +1 Spin, this applies to both variants of bonus. Death Spins comes with all the previously mentioned benefits. The special addition for this bonus is the sticky wilds. The Tombstone Wilds will be bonded by chains after they complete their multiplier nudging.

For those who hate to wait, Warrior Graveyard provides an opportunity to buy both features straight away. Cost for the Graveyard Spins is 72x while Death Spins is priced at 666x, which seems pricey as hell, but this version of the bonus rarely pays out low wins.
Conclusion
Warrior Graveyard is a near-perfect game. The visuals and the execution of the theme is 10/10. Of course, the brutal setting is not for everyone, as this slot can get quite intense, but we for one loved it, perhaps we are still in the festive Halloween spirit. Warrior Graveyard background music is especially haunting, combined with rustling rain it creates a masterpiece. Horror films fans will love this slot.
From the gameplay standpoint, xNudge feature is implemented as effortlessly as always, nudging up those multipliers one by one, a feeling that never gets old. The only objection from our side would be the max win. It would have been great if Warrior Graveyard could match the payout from Deadwood. Especially in the moment when you get the Death Spins. It’s a very rare occasion and when you hit it, you want it to feel like an absolute must-win jackpot. Overall, Warrior Graveyard is another hit from Nolimit City and without a doubt, it is the perfect sequel for the battles of Barbarian Fury.
